独发章第三十一

五爻俱动，一爻不动，谓之独静；五爻不动，一爻独动，谓之独发。事之成败，由乎用神；应期迟速，亦由乎用神；独发独静，古有验之，余试亦有验也，皆在验事应之后，如会神机，非初敢执之而断祸福与应期也。况卦得独静虽少，而独发者多，如舍其用神，执之而决事者，谬也，过也。

彼有门客知易，谓寅木一爻独发，化出丑父，乃应正月得见父灵。余曰，此隔靴搔痒也。卦中父爻持世，据被寅木克制，乃身不能动，灵亦不能动也。欲身动而灵动，必待冲开寅木之年月也，再请一卦，合而决之。

余曰：此正前卦相合，前卦应冲开寅木者，申也。此世化申金回头生，亦应申月。世临虎动因丧事，而卯木冲动九五，又来生世，今年申酉月必蒙恩。眼下月破，万万不能。后应申月所请准，酉岁迎灵而归，两卦皆是独发，可执之耶。

友人执此而问。余曰：戌土子孙一爻独发，昨日丙戌，定皆大晴，如何还雨，余曰：尔忧麦被水冲，神以子孙发动克去身边之鬼示尔忧非，应晴也。虽则目下晴，决不涨水，即以此卦而决阴晴，卯日必大晴也，彼曰：何也？余曰：动而逢合之日晴，则尔无忧也。果于卯日大晴。

丑土财爻持世，日生之，许其可开。问应何时见煤？余曰：财静未月冲开，应在六月。及至六月，竟不见煤，歇而开，开而歇，未年占卦，至亥年辰月始得见煤，此乃应于独发亥水化辰土，年月俱应，断卦之时，谁以亥年辰月而断耶？

古有以独静之爻而断应期，譬如此卦，寅木独静，若不看用神，断寅日生也？断寅日死也？余以卦土为子孙，虽则休囚，得巳午火动而生之，未土子孙化进神， 辰土子孙化回头生，许之寅日当愈，然亦不敢竟断，命伊母再占一卦

亥水子孙化寅木空亡，近病逢空即愈，出空之日也。与前卦相合。余曰：寅日大愈，目下病体虽重，管许无虞。果于寅日全愈。此虽应前卦一爻独静，必应用神之旺也，又得后卦显然，方敢以寅日决之。

李我平曰：易冒以吉凶之生由乎动，所以重于动而轻于用。事应之来不验于用神于卦象，此教人重于独静，独静不用用神者明矣。又云：虽不离用而亦不执用爻也，此又教人用用神、不用用神也。又曰：独发静可用，时日吉凶须审用卦，又教人重于用卦也。留书传世，须一字开后人之茅塞，一言破千古之疑患，即曰用用神之，又曰不用用神主，既无定，何以为法，得此可以醒世。
